Congratulations to the CHP team of Manuel Alvarez, P.E., Luis Rodriguez, and Carlos D. Perez, P.E. for winning CEI Services for RRR Project – SR-5/US-1 FR NW Jensen Beach Blvd to Martin/St Lucie County Line. It’s CHP’s first CEI Contract win as a Prime Consultant since opening the Department in 2012!

This project is located within the City of Stuart, in Martin County, Florida for a 1.43-mile segment of SR 5/US 1. The primary intent of this project is to provide standard RRR improvements to extend the service life of the pavement, address ADA deficiencies along the corridor, and provide safety improvements. The work includes milling and resurfacing, adding new bike lanes, upgrading existing sidewalks and curb ramps, replacing existing loops at two (2) Traffic Monitoring Sites, upgrading pedestrian signals, new lighting, and new signs and pavement markings.

The project will be managed under FDOT District IV’s Treasure Coast Operations Center in Fort Pierce.
